Renstra Pengabdian UPGRIS Selaraskan Arah Pengembangan RPJMD Kota Semarang
Semarang, 20 Desember 2019. FGD Renstra Pengabdian LPPM UPGRIS 2021-2025. Sinergitas Pemerintah dengan Perguruan Tinggi dalam penyusunan Rencana Strategi Pengabdian LPPM Universitas PGRI. Dalam rangka pemenuhan kebutuhan tri dharma perguruan tinggi, maka LPPM UPGRIS menyusun renstra pengabdian kepada masyarakat menselaraskan dengan kegiatan Pendidikan, penanggulangan kemiskinan, pengembangan ekonomi kreatif, pengembangan ekonomi lokal, penelitian dan pengembangan bidang ekonomi, sosial, budaya dan pemerintah, fisik prasarana dan lingkungan.
Kegiatan ini mengundang pembicara Kepala BAPPEDA Kota Semarang Dr. Bunyamin, M.Pd, dalam paparannya beliau menyampaikan tentang kebijakan dan arah pembangunan Kota Semarang: nilai IPM Kota Semarang, angka kemiskinan, tingkat pengangguran, laju pertumbuhan ekonomi, sehingga dapat dijabarkan dalam program kesehatan, Pendidikan, transportasi, pariwisata, ruang usaha, dan pemukiman. Sejalan dengan visi misi UPGRIS, bahwa LPPM akan menjadi mitra pemerintah dalam mengembangkan dan memberdayakan masyarakat.
Selain itu hadir memberikan penguatan tentang pentingnya membangun jejaring yang disampaikan oleh WR IV UPGRIS Bapak Ir. Suwarno Widodo, M.Si., Bahwa perluhnya jejaring dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang melibatkan perguruan tinggi, pemerintah, pengusaha, penduduk, dan pewarta (media).
Sebagai pelaksana program pengabdian kepada masyarakat kegiatan ini dihadiri semua ketua program studi (26 prodi) untuk dapat mengambi peran sebagai pelaksana tri dharma perguruan tinggi dan tindak lanjut pelaksanaan renstra pengabdian kepada masyarakat.
Harapan kegiatan ini adanya penugasan/hibah dari BAPPEDA Kota Semarang untuk mengembangkan pendampingan kampung tematik Kota Semarang dan Desa Wisata dengan sentuhan teknologi. (Arisul)
